About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Manufacturing Consultant to support a full-time client engagement within a dynamic manufacturing and supply chain environment. This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for a functional consultant with deep expertise in JD Edwards Manufacturing who excels at optimizing production processes, improving operational efficiency, and partnering with business leaders to maximize the value of their ERP investment.

The successful candidate will work closely with the client stakeholders and cross-functional teams to analyze business processes, implement best practices, and enhance JD Edwards EnterpriseOne capabilities that support repeatable production, improved inventory control, and scalable manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the functional subject matter expert for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Manufacturing functionality, providing consulting, configuration, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
• Effectively partner with manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, inventory, and operations teams to ensure seamless implementation of scalable manufacturing processes.
• Support the implementation and optimization of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne manufacturing functionality, including Shop Floor Management, Product Data Management (PDM), Manufacturing Management, Work Orders, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Inventory Management, and Product Costing .
• Support business process improvements related to production scheduling, bills of material, routings, work orders, inventory transactions, and manufacturing reporting .
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and collaborate with technical resources when customizations or integrations are required.
• Lead or support user acceptance testing (UAT), process validation, and knowledge transfer activities.
• Deliver clear documentation, training, and guidance to ensure successful system utilization.
• Build strong working relationships with client stakeholders and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the engagement.

• 10+ years of functional consulting experience with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
• Deep expertise in JD Edwards Manufacturing modules and manufacturing business processes.
• Proven experience supporting clients within manufacturing or supply chain organizations.
• Strong knowledge of Shop Floor Management, Product Data Management (Bills of Material and Routings), Manufacturing Work Orders, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Inventory Management, Product Costing, Production Scheduling.
• Experience gathering business requirements and leading process improvement initiatives.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and client-facing consulting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel onsite weekly to the client location in the Southeast United States.
