Regional Director

Regional Director – Transportation Operations Salary: $105,000–$120,000 annually Full-Time | Frequent Regional Travel Required Mail Management Services is seeking an experienced Regional Director – Transportation Operations to oversee and support multiple transportation operations across Texas, Tennessee, and North Carolina. This is a hands‑on leadership position responsible for ensuring assigned locations operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and postal contract requirements. The Regional Director will work closely with Site Managers and senior leadership to support staffing, safety, operational performance, employee management, and continued company growth. Location Requirement: Driver must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of San Antonio, TX or Cudahy, WI , and be able to reliably report as scheduled. Locations Currently Under Oversight Houston, TX Memphis, TN Frequent travel to assigned locations is required. Additional travel may be necessary to assist with new location startups and other operational needs. What You'll Do Provide leadership and operational support to Site Managers across multiple locations. Review postal contracts and site operations to ensure services and contractual requirements are being met. Monitor operational performance, ELD/HOS compliance, attendance, staffing, and safety. Ensure company safety policies and procedures are consistently followed across assigned locations. Work directly with Site Managers and local USPS personnel to address operational needs. Review staffing needs and help locations maintain appropriate staffing levels. Assist Site Managers with employee coaching, counseling, and performance‑related matters. Develop and review operational timelines, matrices, and performance expectations. Support new contract/location startups and company growth initiatives. Troubleshoot operational challenges and provide hands‑on assistance when needed. What We're Looking For 3+ years of transportation management experience preferred. Experience managing complex, time‑sensitive transportation operations. Multi‑site management or regional leadership experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and locations simultaneously. Willingness and ability to travel frequently. Class A CDL preferred. Must be able to successfully complete required federal background screening for USPS access. Ability to successfully complete required company defensive driving and ongoing safety training. Previous postal contract management experience is not required.
