DCS Visit Supervisor

Cummins Behavioral Health Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced clinician or a recent bachelor’s graduate with a strong interest in helping families for a DCS Visit Supervisor position in Greencastle, Indiana. Qualified candidates should have a background in social work, human services, and/or mental health and a passion to impact youth and families at our Putnam County outpatient program. The DCS Visit Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and facilitating supervised visits between children and their parents or guardians. The role involves ensuring the safety and well-being of the child during visits, providing support to parents, and documenting visit activities. The DCS Visit Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining and strengthening family relationships in a safe and structured environment. Essential duties include: Monitor and supervise visits between children and their parents/guardians to ensure the child's safety and well‑being Communicate with DCS workers via various channels and provide monthly progress reports Provide parent education and training, including community referrals and case management services, as needed Document services in electronic and paper records, ensuring adherence to internal and external standards Coordinate transportation for supervised visits Perform other duties as assigned Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, or a related degree in a human services field is required Preferred Qualifications: CPR and First Aid certification preferred Demonstrated empathy, patience, and the ability to build positive rapport with children and their parents/guardians preferred Benefits Include: Competitive salaries Excellent work life balance (paid time off and holidays) Professional and leadership training and advancement Diverse career tracks Comprehensive insurance package Clinical support from leaders in the field Matching contributions to your 401(k) program We are an equal opportunity employer.
