Job Summary:
The clinic specialty is located in Bismarck, North Dakota. This position involves supporting urology clinic operations within an acute care setting, providing patient care for common diagnoses such as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), hematuria, urinary tract infections (UTI), lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS), and other related conditions. The role requires collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals in a busy outpatient environment.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Daytime hours, Monday through Friday, with rotations among the following shifts: 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM, 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM, 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM, or 09:00 AM - 05:30 PM.
• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association); minimum of 2 years of experience preferred.
• Education & Experience: No minimum experience required.
• Location Requirements: Work located in Bismarck, North Dakota.
• Hours: 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include assisting in clinical procedures, setting up sterile fields, and aiding in catheter placements.
• Additional notes: The unit operates with a nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 33-40 patients per day, with 2 nurses, 1 Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), and 1 Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). The inpatient pharmacy operates 24/7.
• Orientation will include procedure setup and take down.
• The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts in a 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments, with full hours paid in lieu of cancellation.
• This position may require floating to other departments within the specialty clinics as needed, maintaining the same duties and functions.
• Charting is performed using the EPIC electronic medical records system.
