Distribution Operations Clerk 3rd Shift (Administrative Shipping Receiving Clerk)

Guided by his legacy and our mission We serve and protect all hardworking people by building durable products we remain dedicated to upholding these principles in every decision we make and every product we create./ph3Associate Responsibilities/h3ulliPerform activities related to the shipping and receiving of product to the distribution facility (such as updating PINC system, working with Freight and Receiving supervisors, relabeling freight, etc); escalate issues to appropriate leaders and cross-functional teams (such as ASN, CTPAT, carrier/driver issues, etc) and follow through with updates and information/liliMonitor daily reports and communicate with Planning to determine what is ready and available to ship./liliCreate shipments in WMI and prepare all necessary paperwork including BOLs and load sheets./liliEnsure receiving calendar is updated, and collaborate with Ops Receiving Supervisor on managing docks, what loads to unload, and to move/locate trailers in and out of proper docks, and update the yard management system with any incoming or outgoing trailers./liliCommunicate with the Outbound Planning, Transportation, and Logistics teams to ensure that the order is processed, and invoice shipments when appropriate./liliHandle all incoming/outgoing drivers paperwork, reconcile any shipping manifest/receipts of incoming/outgoing shipments, and receive goods systematically in SAP./liliUpdate STO log, conduct and support CTPAT program and audits, support delivery and sortation of UPS/FedEx deliveries, print labels/barcodes for pallets, and other tasks that support distribution operations/liliOther Distribution Ops duties as assigned/li/ulh3Required Education/h3ulliHigh school diploma or equivalent required./li/ulh3Required Skills Experience/h3ulli1 year of experience working in a distribution center, manufacturing or production environment/liliProficient computer skills in Microsoft Office./liliWarehouse Management System and ERP experience./liliKnowledge of CTPAT (Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) preferred./liliAbility to positively interact with other associates./liliAbility to adjust to doing multiple tasks./liliExcellent conflict resolutions skills./liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills./liliStrong attention to detail./li/ulh3Physical Requirements and Working Conditions/h3ulliStrength: Sedentary Frequently; light occasionally/liliMovement: Stooping, crouching, reaching, handling/liliEquipment: Office Equipment, hand tools/liliCarhartt is a tobacco free workplace./li/ulpWe are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, ethnicity, disability, religion, national origin, gender, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, sexual orientation, age, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law./ppAll associates are required to understand and act in accordance with the Carhartt Core Values.
