Job Summary
Medical Surgical With Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) Nights (MS TELE) in Lufkin, Texas. In this acute care role, the Registered Nurse will provide care for patients with common diagnoses including CHF, diabetes, PNA, and CKD, while supporting a virtual integrated care nursing model. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights (6:30 PM7:00 AM), 12-hour shifts; every other weekend required; minimum 36 hours per week; holidays required.
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license (license to submit required); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; 3 years of experience; ability to read telemetry strips (tele/monitor techs monitor patients while Registered Nurses read strips).
• Preferred Qualifications: Transitioned to a virtual integrated care nursing model (VIC); strong communication and time management.
• Additional Information: Floating requirements may be required to other med/surg units. Care may include CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow patients. The unit operates with 24 beds and a typical ratio of 6:1.
