Position Purpose The Compliance HMDA/Fair Lending QC Specialist is responsible for the accuracy of data entry to the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) Loan Application Register (LAR). The role includes regulatory review of HMDA files to ensure all proper documentation is included to meet reporting requirements. Essential Functions And Basic Duties Perform reviews of HMDA data within the HMDA software system to source documents. Enter missing or incorrect data into the HMDA software system. Identify, correct and track HMDA errors and report any potential concerns about non‑compliance with regulatory requirements. Establish and maintain effective communication with lending associates for corrections or completion of required loan file documentation. Maintain a good working knowledge of the HMDA requirements to assist in preparation and maintenance of the LAR. Complete quarterly compliance training. Perform other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities This role does not have supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications Education/Certification High school diploma. Skills/Abilities Analytical, detail oriented and accurate. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Well organized. Demonstrate ability to work well with other associates.
