Senior Proposals Engineer - Hydro

As a Senior Proposals Engineer - Hydro, you will lead the creation of highly competitive and strategic proposals for North America renewable energy control systems, with a primary focus in hydroelectric power. You will have accountability to architect solutions from both a technical and commercial perspective, encompassing written proposals and accompanying cost estimates. This role will be supporting our Power and Water Solutions business.This position can be located in our Blue Bell, PA, Cranberry Township, PA, Amherst, WI, or Novi, MI office. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Prepare comprehensive, accurate, and timely proposals for control system projects, including reviewing customer specifications and drawings.Develop best‑value solutions that meet customer needs, reduce risk, and support project success.Present project costs, risks, and differentiators clearly and confidently to key decision‑makers.Review purchase orders to ensure alignment with the proposed scope of work.Partner with a global network of engineers and subject‑matter experts to ensure high‑quality proposal development.Apply foundational knowledge in engineering, automation, networking, and business to deliver thoughtful, innovative solutions.Who You Are:You accomplish objectives despite ambiguity and complexity. You establish and maintain effective relationships to create a collaborative working environment. You design feedback loops into workflows to deliver continuous improvement.
