Accounting Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed monthly ad hoc journal entries, ensuring adherence to GAAP standards.
- Perform comprehensive monthly balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.
- Analyze financial reserves, calculate adjustments, and recommend improvements.
- Manage accurate accounting across multiple entities on both accrual and cash basis.
- Conduct daily bank reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and document internal controls.
- Generate, review, and distribute client pre-bills and final invoices efficiently.
- Provide insights on client accruals, status updates, and budgets.
- Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders, vendors, and colleagues to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Uphold policies, controls, and procedures with consistency and professionalism.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience with complex accounting systems
- Solid knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and communicate clearly at all organizational levels.
- Commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience querying and manipulating data from business intelligence or data warehouses.
- Prior work experience in a professional services environment.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting,
- Demonstrated background in handling detailed financial reconciliation and billing processes.
