We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher for our Toddler and Infant Rooms to inspire young minds and foster a nurturing, engaging environment. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating developmentally appropriate lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and building strong relationships with children and their families. Your role is vital in promoting early childhood development through innovative teaching strategies, ensuring safety, and supporting each child's unique needs. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for infants and toddlers
• Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, clean, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning
• Foster positive behavior management strategies to support children's social skills and emotional regulation
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns
• Collaborate with team members to plan lessons, assess developmental progress, and adapt teaching methods as needed
• Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently
• Incorporate early intervention techniques and literacy education strategies to support diverse learning needs
• Conduct classroom assessments using standardized testing tools when appropriate to monitor developmental benchmarks
• Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, special education, physical education, and childcare best practices

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in a classroom or childcare setting, preferably with infants and toddlers
• Strong knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education methodologies
• Experience developing curriculum tailored to early learners’ needs
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies
• Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration
• Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional certifications in special education or early intervention are a plus
• Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare is essential
• Demonstrated ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy, math, physical activity, and social-emotional learning
• Experience working in preschool or daycare environments; private school experience is advantageous
• Passion for nurturing young children’s growth through innovative teaching practices
