RN Med-Surg Acute Care/OBS UnitThis position requires a 12-hour night shift, including weekend rotation. The candidate must agree to be in the call rotation, taking one call shift every two weeks as needed.The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Acute Care/Med-Surg Adult unit is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients. Using specialized knowledge and expertise related to critical disease states, the RN will plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care utilizing the nursing process.Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a med-surg acute care setting.Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and health maintenance.Minimum of 2 years of Acute Care/Med-Surg/Telemetry nursing experience is required.Current RN License to practice in Colorado.Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.Current ACLS certification (AHA).At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
