Material Handler

Material HandlerJoin our dynamic team as a Material Handler, where you will perform a variety of warehouse and material handling tasks. In this role, you will assist in receiving by unloading trucks and managing inventory across several areas including QC, dock to stock, and various facilities. You will be operating lifts up to 70% of the time in receiving, and engage in both put away and picking tasks. Using a pick sheet and cart, you will gather parts for production and replenish stock using a cherry picker that can reach up to 24 feet. Additionally, you will utilize an ERP system (SAP) for stock replenishment and ShipConsole for shipping duties, verifying weights and dimensions before loading trucks.ResponsibilitiesUnload trucks and distribute materials to designated areas such as QC, dock to stock, and other facilities.Operate lifts and handle materials efficiently during receiving and put away tasks.Use a pick sheet and cart to pick parts for production, replenishing stock as needed.Operate a cherry picker to reach heights of up to 24 feet for stocking purposes.Utilize ERP systems like SAP for stock replenishment.Perform shipping duties using ShipConsole, verifying weights, dimensions, and locations before loading trucks.Essential SkillsMinimum of 1 year of relevant warehouse experience.Proficiency in using ERP systems.Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively.Experience with material handling, inventory management, picking, packing, and shipping.Additional Skills & QualificationsForklift operation (stand up reach truck, sit down, cherry picker, electric pallet jack).Experience with SAP or Oracle.Knowledge of Bills of Lading (BOLs).Why Work Here?We offer excellent healthcare, dental, and vision benefits, along with three weeks of paid vacation and nine company holidays per year. The warehouse team consists of 20 people, and the standard work hours are from 6 am to 2:30 pm, with possible additional hours. The dress code requires steel-toed shoes.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
