Many of our team members were referred by their friends and families who are already a part of the Great Northern team.Position SummaryUnder general supervision and following established procedures, the Material Handler (Forklift Operator) is responsible for efficiently and accurately pulling material for production orders, performing material stocking and material handling operations throughout the Plant Operations facility and the Warehouse/Distribution facility. All responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with pre-determined performance standards for the position and in accordance with all O.S.H.A. rules and regulations.All job responsibilities are to be performed in strict adherence with the Company's Mission/Values Statement and in accordance with established standards for external customers as well as internal customers.Pay/Schedule$24.00/hour - $28.00/hour depending on experience and qualifications (PLUS $2/hour Shift Differential)3rd Shift: Sunday evening – Friday morning from 10:15pm until 6:15amResponsibilitiesOff load trailers and verify quantity and routing of material.Receive incoming inventory and WIP, record on-line in appropriate computer record.Process a variety of reports to locate PO# and verify routing and receiving.Separate and route products to assembly or to inventory.Process a variety of reports to identify open orders and create shipping plans. Manage the order database and coordinate with the shipping coordinator.
