Shipping And Receiving Clerk Requirements

• Experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
• Experience using manual pallet jacks or material handling equipment.
• Familiarity with shipping documentation and freight processes.

Shipping And Receiving Clerk Job Duties

• Receive, inspect, and document all incoming shipments and deliveries.
• Prepare outbound shipments by verifying contents, packaging items, and selecting appropriate shipping methods.
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records and documentation.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies related to inventory, shipments, or storage.
• Communicate with drivers, team members, and customers via phone, email, and walkie-talkie.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Support general warehouse and logistics activities as needed.
