MIG Welder

$20 - $22/hr

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate welding and fabrication.
Operate plasma cutters, mag drills, and other machinery.
Fabricate and assemble products as required.
Utilize tape measures and grinders for precision work.

Essential Skills

1-3 years of MIG welding experience.
Proficiency in welding carbon steel.
Blueprint reading skills.
Experience with operating plasma cutters and mag drills.

Work Environment

The work environment is a non-climate-controlled shop, which can get cold in the winter and hot in the summer.
The work hours are Monday to Thursday, 6:30 am to 5:15 pm, with a 45-minute unpaid lunch and two paid 15-minute breaks. Fridays offer flexible hours, ranging from 5 to 10 hours, based on workload.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
