Job DescriptionQUALIFICATIONS:· Interim Secret Clearance required prior to start, TS/SCI preferred· will possess a technical IAT-II certification (Sec+ or alternate)· At least 5 years job experience in a related field working on technical solutions· Proven experience in Windows, Linux, Networking, Cyber Security, and Data Center environments· Proven experience with DevSecOps preferred· Proven Senior Engineering experience in a cloud environment· Proven experience with AWS, especially in support of an IL4/IL5 platform· Posses a strong understanding of Engineering in multiple technical areas· BA/BS degree in an IT discipline, or equivalent, plus proven experience in project management· Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly language.· Experience in effectively influencing and leading personnel and the ability to write business reports in a well-organized manner· Strong team skills· Strong problem-solving skillsWant to learn more about Government Services? A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $195,000.00 to $215,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. We excel at delivering innovative, operationally ready, and cost-effective IT solutions that accelerate the interoperability and resiliency of mission-critical systems.What will you be doing?WWT is seeking a candidate to help lead the design, develop, engineer, and document the new Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment and infrastructure supporting our customer. They will work with the customer to identify platform requirements and solutions, propose new concepts and work through challenges, and verify compliance for the platform based on the customer’s requirements. The AWS environment will be IL4/IL5 certified. Experience with Windows, Linux, Networking, and Security especially in a cloud environment will be the key to success with the buildout of this new platform.RESPONSIBILITIES:· Work as the senior staff member to design, build, and deploy a secure and compliant AWS platform· Collaborate openly and frankly with all internal and external partners, such as Government Engineers, Contractor Engineers, Contractor Operations staff, Management, and 3rd party vendors· Ensure timely delivery of all Engineering Service Requests, removing any obstacles to completing work as scheduled· Perform risk analysis of each Engineering Service Request, and inform all stakeholders of the applicable risks· Develop, maintain, and execute project plan in support of the platform development and future support· Perform and coordinate project management activities in accordance with the customers project management team· Discuss projects at a technical level· Establish project milestones and monitor adherence to project scope, requirements, and schedules· Coordinate with internal and external organizations by arranging, chairing, and facilitating meetings to establish project requirements and schedules while ensuring these are well understood and achievable· Provide regular status reporting for project activities which is circulated to the key stakeholders. The specific schedule, distribution, and reporting requirements will be defined and agreed as part of the Project Initiation activities· Develop and provide briefings to customers management stakeholders· Provide meeting minutes documenting action items, milestones, and status· Report project risks along with risk mitigation recommendations· Be responsible for day-to-day management of project activities ensuring assigned tasks are completed and that all deliverables are of the highest quality· Develop and maintain documentation as required· Other duties as assignedJob DetailsJob Type: Full-timeCategory: Advanced SolutionsSalaried: Salaried
