Job Description\n Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Reg\n Location: Community Medical Center\n Department Name: Respiratory Care\n Req #: 0000250229\n Status: Hourly\n Shift: Night\n Pay Range: $46.07 - $56.23 per hour\n Pay Transparency: \n The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.\n The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.\n Job Overview:\n Provides therapeutic, supportive and diagnostic respiratory services and care to all CMC patients.\n Qualifications:\n \n AA/AS degree preferred.\n Current or eligible for NJ licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.\n Certification and/or Registration by NBRC required.\n BLS required.\n \n Scheduling Requirements:\n \n Night Shift\n Full-Time (36 hours per week)\n \n Essential Functions:\n \n Administers respiratory care as ordered by the physician and documents all required information in the patient record.\n Assists during emergency bronchoscopy procedures\n Intubates (if certified) and manually ventilates patients during emergency situations\n Extubates patients as ordered by physicians\n Performs and interrupts weaning parameters and simple spirometry (bedside) as ordered\n Performs arterial puncture, analysis, and reporting of sample results.
