Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - CVICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for patients undergoing cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgeries, including ECMO and LVAD support.
• Administer and titrate critical care drips, including inotropes and sedation, as per protocol requirements.
• Collaborate with intensivists, advanced practice providers, and other specialists for comprehensive patient management.
• Ensure accurate monitoring and interpretation of telemetry and ECG rhythms, notifying providers of changes.
• Engage in unit-specific orientation and adhere to department protocols, including float policy to ICU or stepdown units.
• Follow the facility's dress code policy, wearing royal blue scrubs as required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed to practice in West Virginia or willing to obtain license.
• Minimum of two years of CVICU experience with cardiac surgery, ECMO, and LVAD patients.
• Certification in ACLS and BLS required; CCRN preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to titrate critical care drips and assess ECG changes.
• Experience with common CVICU equipment, including ventilators, CPAP, and BiPAP.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as per unit requirements, floating to other units as needed.
