Location: Cedar Rapids, IA (QTS Data Center)
Pay: $50/hour
Per Diem: $175/day (Paid 7 Days/Week)
Schedule: 60–70 Hours Per Week
Project Length: 3 Years
We're looking for licensed journeyman electricians to join a high-profile QTS data center project in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. If you're seeking steady work, substantial overtime, and a long-term opportunity with strong earning potential, this is the project for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
- Install EMT, rigid, and PVC conduit systems
- Pull wire and terminate electrical equipment
- Install panels, switchgear, lighting, and control systems
- Ensure all work meets NEC requirements and jobsite safety standards
- Collaborate with project teams to maintain quality and meet production schedules
Qualifications
- Active journeyman electrician license or ability to obtain Iowa reciprocity
- Commercial, industrial, or data center electrical experience preferred
- Ability to work 60–70 hours per week, including overtime
- Strong commitment to safety, craftsmanship, and productivity
- Willingness to travel and stay near the project site if necessary
