The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) plays a crucial role in supporting outpatient pediatric care by performing clinical and administrative tasks. This role involves direct patient interaction to ensure accurate vital signs measurement, medication administration, and vaccine injections, while also managing scheduling and maintaining compliance with healthcare standards.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record patient vital signs accurately
• Schedule patient appointments efficiently
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Provide vaccine injections following proper protocols

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years outpatient pediatric experience
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
• Knowledge of vital signs measurement and medical terminology
• Strong patient care skills
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities

We are looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing, and self-motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Certified Medical Assistant. Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about delivering quality healthcare to infants and children. Outpatient pediatric experience is required. Candidates should have a strong commitment to customer service, be eager to learn, and have previous experience working in pediatrics. We are looking for someone with a high level of personal accountability, responsibility, and positivity to join our team driven practice. This position will aid physicians, and other staff members, by performing various clinical and administrative duties within a dynamic work environment.
We ask that applicants are flexible, and available to work evenings and weekends, on rotating basis.
