Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Reach Forklift Operator / Material Handler to join our warehouse team. This position is responsible for safely operating a reach truck to move, store, and retrieve inventory while supporting daily warehouse operations through material handling, order fulfillment, and inventory control. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to maintaining a safe workplace.

Essential Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up reach forklift to move, stack, and retrieve products from warehouse racking.
• Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
• Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify product quantities and condition.
• Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts.
• Scan products using RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Ensure all products are properly labeled and stored in designated locations.
• Inspect forklift equipment before each shift and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with general warehouse duties, including palletizing, wrapping, sorting, and housekeeping.
• Perform other duties as assigned by warehouse leadership.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a stand-up reach forklift is required.
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach throughout the shift.
• Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Capable of working overtime and weekends as needed.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, or order picking.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
• Ability to meet productivity and accuracy goals.
• Basic math and computer skills.
