Delivery Driver

Job Description

We are hiring a Full-Time Delivery Driver in Des Moines, IA for a Temp-to-Hire opportunity. The driver will safely operate a company vehicle to deliver products to designated locations, follow assigned routes and schedules, provide professional customer service, and assist with loading, unloading, and warehouse duties as needed.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a company delivery vehicle and follow assigned routes and schedules.
Load, unload, and secure merchandise to prevent damage during transportation.
Verify orders, delivery paperwork, and customer signatures as needed.
Perform vehicle inspections and report safety or maintenance concerns.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and assist with warehouse duties as needed.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Previous delivery or driving experience preferred.
Ability to lift, carry, and move packages or materials throughout the workday.
Strong time-management, organization, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently, follow directions, and maintain reliable attendance.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen .
