Stand Up Forklift Operator - El Paso
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Stand Up Forklift Operator to work with a leading logistics company in El Paso. You will be responsible for the day-to-day material handling inside a fast-paced distribution facility, ensuring efficient operations and strict adherence to safety protocols.
Shift Patterns
- Monday-Friday 8 AM to 5 PM
Pay Rates
- 14.00 USD hourly
Must-Have Requirements for Stand Up Forklift Operator
- Minimum of 1 year of recent stand-up forklift experience (reach trucks or order pickers).
- Ability to successfully pass an on-site practical forklift evaluation and safety certification.
- Physical capability to stand for long periods and comfortably lift up to 50–75 lbs throughout the shift.
- Dependable transportation to and from the job site in Santa Teresa, NM.
- Strong situational awareness regarding pedestrians and automated equipment.
- Ability to follow safety rules and operate machinery cautiously.
Desirable Qualifications for Stand Up Forklift Operator
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse logistics/supply chain inventory software.
- Basic math and documentation skills for accurate inventory tracking.
- Strong reliability, punctuality, and a collaborative team spirit.
Role for Stand Up Forklift Operator
- Safely and proficiently operate stand-up forklifts to transport materials through narrow aisles.
- Efficiently move, stack, stage, and organize incoming and outgoing product shipments.
- Verify product numbers, quantities, and condition of goods against order documentation utilizing RF scanners.
- Conduct mandatory daily pre-operational equipment safety checks and report defects.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and debris-free work zone to uphold OSHA guidelines.
