Job Overview Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Cumming, GA. The work schedule includes Monday‑Thursday 8:15am‑5:45pm with a 1‑hour lunch break, Friday 8:00am‑12:15pm without lunch, and occasional Saturdays. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient data accurately and promptly. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Complete administrative and clerical duties as required. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program. At least 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 3 or more years of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification must come from an accredited agency if work experience is lacking. Proven track record in exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Must pass a standardized color‑blindness test.
