This role plays an essential role in creating unparalleled experiences for our members. The Reception Team will help build a positive professional environment while remaining committed to our brand ethos. This role is the first point of contact for all members and their guests. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, self awareness, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.Here's What You'll Do Day-to-DayGreet and assist members and guests upon arrival, providing a warm and professional welcome.Impeccable understanding of campus operations to support in addressing inquiries and providing information about events and servicesManage the day to day operations of the reception area, including check-ins, scheduling meeting rooms, and regular communication with Valet, Security, and campus leadership.Assist with executing day of the event tasks, including setup and check-in for large scale brand partnership events.Become experts on navigating our CRM platform, Peoplevine.Collaborate with team members to enhance the member experience and address any issues or concerns.Spark connections and creativity between members through empathy, authenticity, and joy.Execute surprise and delight moments for our members and guests.Collaborate with leadership on projects and process improvements.Here's What We're Looking ForA minimum of 2 years experience in a hospitality or customer service role.Solid understanding, or willingness to learn, customer relationship management platforms and applications.Excellent attendance and punctualityStrong problem-solving skills and the superpower of sparking connections.Excellent communication.Flexibility to work evenings and weekendsA degree or certificate in the arts or media production or hospitality is a plus, but not required.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand or remain in one area for extended periods of time.Ability to lift supplies or products up to 20-25 lbsComfortable working in different environments, from a theater setting to more intimate podcast studios.Our ValuesAt The Lighthouse, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) isn't just a statement, it's our collective strength.
