Imaging Science Lead Sr. Principal Scientist
Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
Regeneron seeks an Imaging Science Lead to direct oncology imaging strategy and biomarker development across early and late-phase clinical trials. The role involves designing multimodality imaging endpoints, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance for PET, CT, and novel imaging agents in oncology drug development.
Responsibilities
- Formulate imaging biomarker strategies with imaging, therapeutic area, and development leads to advance clinical pipeline
- Lead design and implementation of multimodality imaging measures as clinical study endpoints
- Collaborate with clinical teams as imaging subject matter expert on protocol development and statistical analysis
- Oversee image analysis, interpretation, and development of study reports and publications
- Lead regulatory interactions and ethics committee approvals for imaging biomarker development studies
Requirements
- Doctorate degree in relevant field with 5+ years oncology imaging experience in industry or academia
- Leadership experience applying imaging as quantitative endpoint in clinical and preclinical oncology studies
- Expertise implementing tumor response criteria: RECIST 1.1, PCWG3, Lugano, IMWG
- Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills
- Ability to champion imaging innovations and lead projects effectively
- Preferred: 5+ years pharmaceutical or biotech PET tracer development experience
- Preferred: Regulatory agency interaction experience and imaging CRO oversight
