• Location: New Hope, MN
• Shift: Days & Evenings
• Shift Length: 12 hours
• Call: No call
• Weekends: Required according to department rotation
• Pay: $19.76–$29.64/hour, (based on years of experience) + Benefits
  

-> Schedule

The schedule is approximately 0.9 FTE and includes days and evenings. Shifts are generally:

• 7:45 AM–8:15 PM
• 8:00 AM–8:30 PM

The schedule rotates and is subject to change based on operational needs.

There is no on-call requirement .

Position Summary

We are seeking an Urgency Center Technician to provide supportive, compassionate, and high-quality care to patients and families under the direction of the clinical care team.

The technician will assist with patient care and help maintain an efficient flow of patients throughout Clinic Services while demonstrating commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

-> Key Responsibilities

• Provide supportive and compassionate patient care under the direction of the care team.
• Assist with patient needs and contribute to a safe, comfortable patient environment.
• Support clinical staff with patient care activities.
• Help manage patient flow throughout the clinic/urgency center.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team.
• Demonstrate professionalism and commitment to patient-centered care.
• Follow applicable clinical, safety, and organizational standards.
• Consistently demonstrate the mission, vision, values, and guiding principles.

-> Required Qualifications

• Successful completion of an EMT program .
• Current BLS certification .
• National or State EMT certification .
• At least 1 year of experience as a Clinical Technician/PCT in a clinic or hospital setting .
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and participate in the department's weekend rotation.

-> Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Emergency Department (ED) experience .
• Experience providing direct patient care in an urgent care, emergency, or hospital environment.
