Interventional Radiology Technologist

This position requires working in a busy interventional radiology department. The role involves caring for both outpatient and critically ill inpatients. Candidates should be familiar with a variety of procedures including embolizations, central line placements, and drain placements. Experience with emergent trauma and stroke patients is preferred. The technologist will be expected to perform patient evaluations and prepare for procedures. Ability to maintain a sterile field and follow all infection control guidelines is essential. There will be requirements for both weeknight and weekend on-call shifts. The position involves comprehensive patient care during radiologic procedures. Familiarity with Epic charting system is required. All candidates should possess skills in various interventional radiology techniques. This position requires working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Travelers must comply with facility guidelines and protocols. Candidates should be adaptable to the needs of the department.
