A full-time Pharmacy Manager opportunity is available in the retail sector of Binghamton, NY. This direct hire position offers a variable schedule with day and afternoon shifts, averaging 62 hours bi-weekly, and an immediate start date.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster a collaborative relationship with the store operations team, driving associate engagement and communicating departmental and company strategies.
• Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance.
• Manage the pharmacy department to build a profitable business, promote script growth, and implement clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Collaborate with the pharmacy District Manager and staff to control inventory, track sales, and order pharmaceuticals to meet demand.
• Align performance objectives to key departmental metrics to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency.
• Deliver excellent customer service, resolving issues, providing healthcare counseling, and building customer loyalty.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, providing training, coaching, and discipline as needed.
• Maintain pharmacy security and department cleanliness.
• Engage with physicians to clarify prescriptions and resolve any issues that arise.
• Prioritize pharmacy tasks ensuring timely completion of cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Current New York Pharmacist License.
• Experience in retail pharmacy management and familiarity with relevant clinical programs.

This position is direct hire with a competitive salary range of $59.50 to $71.50 per hour, commensurate with experience.
