Collision Estimator

Job Overview Gerber Collision & Glass is a leading collision repair service that values talent from all backgrounds. The Estimator’s primary responsibility is to provide an exceptional customer experience while creating accurate estimates and coordinating repair needs. The role involves documenting customer interactions, ensuring compliance with insurance and company processes, and supporting the repair facility’s key performance indicators. Key Responsibilities Document and update every customer interaction efficiently and accurately. Provide customers with accurate, timely information throughout the repair process. Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes, and metrics. Adhere to WOW Operating Way’s regarding customer drop‑offs, repair planning, communication, and delivery. Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members. Offer a positive, energetic greeting to customers in person and on the phone. Maintain understanding of all required insurance programs and procedures. Participate in daily production walks with the Management Team as required. Support all team members when needed. Attend monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings (if required). Participate in training, information sessions, and workshops recommended by Store Manager. Maximize role performance to maintain store KPIs. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of experience as an estimator (or equivalent). Knowledge of repairs and OE guidelines. Awareness of where to look for answers. Basic computer skills. Compliance with DRP’s and willingness to complete I‑CAR Training. Valid driver’s license.
