The Role You’ll be our first dedicated Deal Desk owner; the person sales reps go to when a deal needs structure, the person Accounting and Customer Experience trust to hand off clean commercial data, and the person RevOps leadership leans on to build the systems that make all of it run smoothly. About 80% of your time is deal desk, and the remaining 20% involves broader RevOps projects spanning marketing ops to CX ops. What You’ll Own Day-to-Day Deal Desk (~40%) Pipeline and deal data hygiene. Own data quality across the HubSpot pipeline — stage discipline, deal data completeness, accurate forecasting inputs. Rep support. Be the first call when a rep needs help structuring a deal, pricing a non‑standard configuration, or working through commercial terms. Order forms & contracts. Drive deals through to close — order form generation, contract details, special terms, signatures via DocuSign. Deal‑close handoff. Coordinate with Accounting and Customer Experience so every closed deal lands with clean commercial data and any special conditions are clearly communicated. Strategic Deal Desk Projects (~40%) CPQ build‑out. Partner with our Business Systems team to evolve our quote‑to‑contract flow inside HubSpot. Order forms & MSA architecture. Design how we capture contracting data, surface special terms, and structure renewals as first‑class objects in the CRM. Approval workflows. Build the routing logic that flags deals requiring multiple eyes — deal size, discount thresholds, custom terms — and notifies the right execs automatically. Renewal automation. Stand up the workflow that turns existing customers into expansion and renewal motions. Proposal automation. Move proposal generation from manual to templated to automated. Broader RevOps (~20%) You’ll be pulled into RevOps strategic projects that touch marketing ops and customer experience ops. We want a generalist's curiosity so if it makes the revenue engine run better, you’ll have a chance to work on it. Who You’ll Work With Sales reps — your primary internal customer; build trust here and the rest follows. RevOps team — two peers plus the Director of Finance and the COO. Business Systems — your build partners for CPQ and HubSpot architecture. Accounting & CX — your handoff partners at deal close. Sales & Executive leadership — on approval workflows and pricing exceptions. What We’re Looking For Experience 3+ years in Deal Desk, RevOps, or Sales Operations at a high‑growth SaaS company. Hands‑on experience with HubSpot or Salesforce (HubSpot preferred) — CRM architecture, custom objects, workflows. Experience touching at least one of: CPQ build‑out, contract lifecycle management, approval workflow design. Bonus: experience with DocuSign, QuotaPath, Gong, Clay, or other similar tools. Hard Skills You can structure a deal and explain why. You understand deal approvals and can critically think through deal composition. You can read a contract and spot the parts that matter. You can design a workflow in HubSpot, not just configure one someone else designed. You think in systems: where data lives, how it flows, where it breaks. Soft Skills Independent operator. You take a project and push it forward. You don't need to be told what to do next. Hungry and curious. You read, you learn, you ask questions that go a layer deeper than expected. Team player at a hub. RevOps sits between Sales, CX, Accounting, and Systems. You build trust across all of them. Direct and constructive. When something's broken, you say so and you bring the fix.
