We are looking for a talented Student for our School to Work – Finance position to join our team, specializing in Finance for our Cummins Inc. facility in Troy, MI .

Job Summary:

The Cummins Drivetrain & Braking Systems (CDBS) student who is pursuing a future in Finance or Accounting. The primary role of the Finance school-to-work is to provide administrative support to the NA Commercial Finance team. The student will, at the same time, gain real world experience and education in the field of Finance in a business-to-business environment.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Maintain and update pricing mechanisms, including Raw Material Surcharge and Ocean Freight adjustments.
• Support daily and ad-hoc pricing requests for the Sisamex Joint Venture, ensuring timely and accurate pricing updates.
• Partner with the North America Commercial team to provide financial analysis and respond to ad-hoc business requests.
• Develop and improve Excel-based tools, reports, and trackers to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Robust documentation of responsibilities and development of process improvement and training.
• Other activities required by supervisor.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools preferred.
• Ability to learn on the job in a dynamic environment while balancing multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently and within teams as needed.
• Demonstrates written and oral communication skills, including presentation creation.
• Strong teamwork and ability to interact with all levels of the organizations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

Education, Licenses, Certification

• currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management or related fields – as sophomore/junior/senior
