Join a mission-driven organization where you'll have broad exposure across multiple entities, work directly with executive finance leadership, and play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, and audit activities.Why This Opportunity Stands Out:• Direct partnership with the Controller and CFO, providing strong leadership exposure • Opportunity to manage accounting activities across multiple nonprofit entities • Broad ownership of month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and analysis • High visibility role with meaningful impact on organizational financial performance • Exposure to budgeting, audit support, year-end close, and strategic finance initiatives • Collaborative shared-services environment with opportunities to improve processes and controls • Stable, mission-driven organization committed to making a positive community impact • Opportunity to expand technical accounting expertise, including intercompany accounting and nonprofit reporting • Diverse responsibilities that provide strong career growth and professional development opportunitiesKey Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:• Lead assigned month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and supporting schedules • Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and related accounting transactions • Support budgeting, variance analysis, and financial reporting for leadership • Assist with annual audits, regulatory reporting, and year-end financial processes • Partner with Finance, Payroll, AP, and operational teams to resolve accounting issues and improve processesQualifications for the Senior Accountant:• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Accounting preferred) • 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, including month-end close and general ledger accounting • Strong knowledge of GAAP, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with accounting software systems • Nonprofit accounting experience, CPA designation/eligibility, and multi-entity accounting experience are preferred
