Diesel Mechanic PositionThis mechanic position is responsible for performing inspections, diagnoses, and repairs of diesel-powered heavy equipment and/or related equipment or components, following established procedures and guidelines. Can work independently or as a member of a team to provide mechanical services that satisfies customer needs and achieves departmental goals.Mid-level position – Generally has more than four years of experience and/or demonstrated job relevant knowledge/skills. A Level III Technician has moderate knowledge of the field's standard and technical concepts, practices, and procedures. Level III Technician performs a variety of standard, complex, and technical tasks; is indirectly supervised and self-starting; often a team member on a large project.The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis:Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business valuesCollaborate with key internal/external resourcesParticipate in ongoing self-development.
