About the Center for Cardiovascular Health (CCH) at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health The Center for Cardiovascular Health (CCH) at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) comprises over 180 providers specializing in Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery and offers the largest cardiovascular services in Western Washington. The Center operates across three tertiary care sites, performing over 1,200 cardiac surgeries and 500 structural cases annually. Role Overview We are seeking Cardiac Surgeons to join our teams delivering advanced treatment for cardiac conditions, including coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, aortic surgery, structural heart procedures, minimally invasive cardiac surgery, arrhythmia surgery, mechanical circulatory support, heart failure surgery, redo cardiac surgery, complex aortic surgery and septal myectomy. Experience in ECMO, LVAD, and TAVR is preferred. Locations Silverdale, Washington Seattle, Washington Responsibilities Perform all aspects of adult cardiac surgery as outlined, managing complex and high‑volume cases and participating in clinical research and trials related to cardiology, structural heart and cardiac surgery. Qualifications MD/DO with completion of an ACGME‑accredited cardiothoracic surgery fellowship. Minimum two years of experience in adult cardiothoracic surgery (new graduates with additional training considered). Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Thoracic Surgeons.
