We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager who's passionate about crafting delicious food, leading a high performing team and delivering a memorable culinary experience.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Partners with the GM to lead a rock star teamTrain, supervise, and coach kitchen staff to deliver consistent food quality and great serviceCommunicate information to kitchen staffAssist in scheduling kitchen staff in their work assignmentsPromote a positive guest experience, resolving any issues professionally and quicklyResponsible to monitor as well as take action to make sure food quality service standards are metMonitor food preparation and ensure consistent quality, taste and presentationMinimizing loss misuseEnsure safe, responsible and legal serving of all alcoholic beveragesEnsure that equipment is maintained as outlined in the restaurant safety and preventive maintenance programEnsure stock levels are maintained by calculating inventory, ordering as well as retrieving supplies plus stocking by stooping, bending, lifting heavy articles reaching overheadEvaluate cost effectiveness of all aspects of operationAll other duties as assignedQualifications/Skills:MUST HAVE 2 YEARS CULINARY EXPERIENCE, preferably kitchen managementCapable of working in a standing position for long periods of time (minimum of 8 hours a day)Capable of reaching, bending, and frequently lifting up to 50 poundsMust have the stamina to work a minimum of 40 hours per weekSome weekend days required as well as mornings and eveningsRequirements:Must be able to pass background checkServSafe certifiedBenefits:PTOPaid trainingEmployee discount401k with company matchingHealth, Dental and Vision offered to Full time employeesTailwind Concessions is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment.
