Responsibilities Operates the PBX answering incoming and in-house call requests. Responds to all emergency codes quickly and calmly with appropriate overhead paging. Contacts patients for an address update as indicated by Supervisor. Reviews updates in the communication book and initial memos. Inventories contents of safe at the beginning of each shift in the presence of a security guard. Assigns loaner beepers and programs new beepers. Ensures courteous and professional dialog with all customers. Other related job tasks or responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Minimum Requirements Special Skills: Must be able to react quickly and calmly to emergency situations and work without direct supervision. Must possess good interpersonal skills. Must exude excellent communication skills including proper phone etiquette. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent GED. Experience: On the job training. Preferred Requirements Experience: Previous switchboard or telephone experience.
