Warehouse Associate

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Operates Saws, Hydraulic Crimpers, and Forklift operation • Hose and valve production • Ship and receive from various companies (primarily UPS WORKING CONDITIONS • Workday is a standard 8 hours and is spent in a warehouse setting. Required Knowledge, Skill and Abilities • Shipping & Receiving experience, desired • Can safely operate Saws and Forklifts • Basic mathematical skills • Pays close attention to detail, a skill essential in identifying order discrepancies & product deficiencies • Problem Solving skills required • Able to lift 50+ pounds • Mechanical Aptitude • Exhibits effective communication skills • Must be able to multi-task and work efficiently • Able to work independently or in a team environment • Team oriented MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS • High School Diploma or GED is required PREFERRED EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS • Forklift experience is desirable • Warehouse Management Systems and other inventory management software experience are desirable • Fluid power experience is desirable PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Talk, hear, stand, walk; reach with hands and arms; pushing and pulling • Lift up to 50 lbs. and engage in assisted safe lifting of larger items • Must be able to stand for long periods of time; climb or balance; kneel and crouch.
