Step into a rewarding full-time contract opportunity supporting students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a maternity leave coverage. This assignment runs from September 1st through mid-November and is perfect for a skilled SLP ready to make a positive impact during the fall semester.

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP in Connecticut
- Previous experience within a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively conduct evaluations, develop and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain thorough documentation
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students according to their IEPs
- Conduct assessments and document results to inform goals and service plans
- Develop and implement targeted interventions and therapy sessions
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to support each student's needs
- Track progress and update records efficiently and accurately
