Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Location: Wichita, KS

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7 AM - 3:30 PM, with every other weekend required.

Job Description: We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist for a travel contract position at a new 41-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility. The role involves providing therapy services to patients, ensuring adherence to required therapy hours, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients according to their individual therapy needs.
• Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs).
• Track treatment time and charges to ensure compliance with therapy requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of therapy staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 6 months of current acute care OT experience.
• Active Kansas state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• BLS certification required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation setting.
• Lymphedema certification.
• Neuro certification or experience.
