Lead and coordinate nursing care, delegating tasks to appropriate team members and overseeing staff functions to ensure proper patient placement. Communicate relevant patient information clearly to the healthcare team; participate in patient conferences and discharge/transfer planning. Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan and adjust care as needed; document care and outcomes to support continuity. Mentor and precept new staff and students; serve as a team leader to support staffing and assignment decisions. Maintain professional growth by pursuing educational opportunities and applying evidence‑based practice.
