Associate Director of Operations

Associate Director of Operations The Associate Director of Operations provides key support for Graduate Student Services at the University of Georgia. This role collaborates on the development and continuous improvement of GradSlate tools that support graduate student application, admission, enrollment, and success processes. Responsibilities GradSlate Development Leadership (30%) – Provide collaborative leadership in developing and enhancing GradSlate tools for graduate admissions and enrolled student services. Graduate Admissions Office Operations (20%) – Oversee daily operations of the Graduate Admissions office, including application processing, transcript and test score management, and decision release. Enrolled Student Services Operations (20%) – Oversee daily operations of the Enrolled Student Services office, managing milestones through students’ graduate programs leading to graduation. Queries and Reports (15%) – Run various queries and reports in GradSlate to ensure efficient processing and data accuracy, including data curation to identify discrepancies. External System Integration (10%) – Work with campus units that employ external admissions systems to streamline integration with GradSlate, designing and revising application data files and documents for import. Other duties as assigned, including assistance with Graduate Commencement twice a year (5%). Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent and 2 years of professional experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Slate.
