Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

• Provide care for Med/Tele Surgical patients with common diagnoses such as ESRD, CHF, Pneumonia, Diabetes/DKA, and more
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage non-titrating cardiac drips
• Perform general medical/surgical procedures and care for patients with tubes/drains
• Administer IVs, blood products, and perform wound care/dressing changes
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

• 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience required
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required; ONS preferred but not required
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and experience with related equipment
