About the Position

We are seeking a Locums General Medical Oncologist with a strong focus in GI Oncology to provide outpatient coverage in Massachusetts. This is an excellent long-term locums opportunity with an anticipated 1-year assignment and the possibility of extension .

The ideal candidate will be able to provide coverage across two outpatient oncology locations in Fitchburg and Worcester, Massachusetts . Local candidates are preferred, but travel candidates may be considered if they can provide consistent coverage.

Compensation : $450 Per Hour

Position Highlights

• Start: ASAP

• Assignment: 1 year with potential to extend

• Setting: Outpatient Oncology

• Schedule: 40 hours per week / 1.0 FTE

• 4 days per week

• 8 clinic sessions , 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

• Approximately 10–16 clinic patients per day

• Primarily GI Oncology

• APP and RN navigator support

• Clinic director and manager on site

• EMR: Epic

• Bone marrow biopsy experience preferred

• Local candidates preferred; travel candidates considered for consistent coverage

Requirements

• MD or DO

• Fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology required

• General Medical Oncology experience, with a strong preference for GI Oncology

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology

• Active Massachusetts medical license required

• DEA and CSR required

• Bone marrow biopsy experience preferred
