Land Analyst

Responsibilities Perform a lead role in the financial analysis for quarterly and annual Division Business Plans Prepare gross revenues, profit margins, sources and uses of funds and related distribution projections Assist in financial feasibility analysis for acquisition opportunities Prepare underwriting proformas and related financial documentation for each asset acquired Perform asset sales pricing analysis and formulate/analyze financial deal points Recommend price/profit participation structures Implement and maintain a computerized financial proforma model Collaborate with management associates to develop alternative business planning scenarios Liaison with Corporate Finance to ensure adherence to financial strategies Maintain market analysis database for feasibility analysis Collate and analyze competitive pricing and features Formulate budgets for assigned programs/projects and administer related vendor contracts Requirements Bachelor’s Degree required in Business, Economics, Real Estate, Finance, or similar discipline required 1-3 years of related experience preferred Basic understanding of real estate and residential land use Local real estate knowledge extremely beneficial Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Working knowledge of mapping applications required Detail oriented with a strong acumen for critical, logical thinking and problem-solving Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, with a strong understanding of real estate and market dynamics.
