Fund Accountant & Operations Associate - Top PE Leader

You will have the opportunity to help a top PE fund firm that is rapidly growing. You will be working out of their NYC office (5x in the office). The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of audit (Big 4/top 10 highly preferred) OR fund accounting experience. Responsibilities Help with the close, journal entries, GL, etc. Capital calls, distributions, waterfalls, the NAV, etc. Assist with daily P&L reporting process (confirms, booking trade activity, derivative settlements, payments) Cash, trade and position reconciliations (products include equities, futures, swaps, options, FX and other derivatives) with counterparties and administrator Frequent communication with fund administrator Assist in other processes relating to month-end close Invoice review and wire entry Assist in preparation and review of audited/unaudited financial statements Assist with preparation and review of regulatory reporting requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or accounting 2 – 5 years of relevant experience in the accounting field Note: Qualified candidates will be contacted.
