Experienced Senior Tax Associate/Tax Manager

THE ROLE:
We’re seeking an experienced Tax Senior or Tax Manager to join our dynamic team. You’re the kind of tax pro who thrives in a collaborative environment, and appreciates a firm that values work-life balance and genuine connection. You’ll be preparing and reviewing a wide variety of tax returns and projections for a range of clients in the real estate, cannabis and entertainment industries. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and detail review high-level partnership, S Corp and individual tax return preparation
• Deliver a full range of tax services for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, etc.
• Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices
• Handle tax research assignments, analyze tax code and regulations, notices, and other issues from various tax authorities
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree (Required)
• 5+ years of recent tax preparation experience in public accounting required
• 2+ years of recent experience detail reviewing tax returns preferred
• CPA or EA license, or eligibility and willingness to pursue either, preferred
• A strong bookkeeping background preferred
• US work authorization (Required)
• Experience with ProConnect Tax, Karbon, CCH AnswerConnect, CFS Tax Tools, Microsoft Office, Office Tools, and/or QuickBooks a plus

• Compensation: $90,000-$150,000, depending on experience

SCHEDULE:
Monday to Friday, with overtime during tax season as needed
