Job Details The Security Officer is responsible for patrolling the Hospital and the grounds. He monitors lighting, illegal parking and reviews conditions of the parking fields, curbing and sidewalks. He is regularly assigned to fixed posts in the Emergency Department, Main Lobby and Baxter Lobby. He also performs other related duties and task as may be assigned or required. He monitors visitors in the Hospital. He also writes incident reports as required. He also ensures the safety of all staff, visitors and patients in the Hospital. He enforces all the security regulations. He is also part of the Hospital Emergency Management Response Team. Requirements High School Diploma, or equivalent required college degree preferred. NYS Security Guard License Clean NYS Driver's License BLS for providers from American Heart Association required Salary Range USD $27.00 - USD $29.00 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
