Regulatory Affairs Specialist
Insight Global
• Ensure compliance of the chemical product portfolio during new product introduction and change management processes.
• Conduct evaluations of chemical formulations to support regulatory compliance determinations.
• Administer regulatory label and claims review processes.
• Review supplier documentation, ingredient disclosures, and formulation data to verify accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain regulatory profile data for commercial names and raw materials
• Maintain positive communications with division graphic coordinators, marketing brand managers, global specification team and R&D regarding program requirements
• Closely interact with various business project teams regarding regulatory programs
• Manage specific projects as assigned.
• May act as lead person or regulatory representative on small projects.
Required Skills & Experience
• 4+ years of Regulatory Affairs experience in a corporate environment
• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years professional experience; direct experience preferable
• Strong chemistry knowledge
• Problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Product Specification experience
• Product registration or product certification experience
• Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets and GHS hazard communication
• Familiarity with federal and state-level programs including US EPA (TSCA), Environment and Climate Change Canada (DSL), New York Department of Environmental Conservation (1,4-dioxane, phosphorus) , California (CARB VOC, Prop 65, SB-258)
