Regulatory Compliance Coordinator

Labor Compliance Coordinator Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM Location: On-site About the Role A growing organization is seeking a Labor Compliance Coordinator to support labor compliance, payroll auditing, union reporting, and employee inquiries. This position offers the opportunity to work directly alongside an experienced Labor Compliance Specialist and develop into a subject matter expert over time. This role is ideal for someone with experience in construction payroll, labor compliance, union administration, certified payroll, or a related field who enjoys detailed work, problem-solving, and supporting employees. Responsibilities Prepare and submit weekly and monthly union reports Review and audit payroll records for accuracy and compliance Assist with certified payroll reporting and verification Research and resolve discrepancies related to wages, classifications, benefits, and reporting requirements Support labor compliance audits and documentation requests Maintain employee and craft classification records Respond to employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, and union-related matters Assist in documenting and improving existing processes and procedures Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure compliance with applicable labor requirements Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Experience in labor compliance, certified payroll, payroll administration, union reporting, HR compliance, or a related area Exposure to union environments, collective bargaining agreements, fringe benefits, or prevailing wage requirements preferred Construction, manufacturing, skilled trades, or related industry experience strongly preferred Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve issues effectively Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with team members Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel Experience with Viewpoint Vista or similar payroll/accounting systems is a plus Benefits During Contract Assignment Eligible contract employees may have access to the following benefits through Roth Staffing: Medical plans including Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC), pharmacy benefits, virtual care, and emotional support resources Hospital indemnity coverage providing cash benefits for eligible hospital stays, surgeries, and diagnostic services Dental and vision coverage, including preventive, basic, and major services Accident and critical illness coverage with lump-sum or cash benefits for qualifying events Life insurance and short-term disability coverage (for employees working 20+ hours per week) Earned Safe and Sick Time in accordance with applicable state and local regulations Discount programs offering savings on travel, entertainment, shopping, and more All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
